FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
FRAMINGHAM, MA - February 9, 2006 - Mike Schultz, Principal of Wellesley Hills Group, has been chosen as the keynote speaker at the upcoming Society for Marketing Professional Services (SMPS) Sales Roundtable Event in Michigan. In the presentation Risks in Rainmaking: Avoiding the Most Common Pitfalls in Selling Your Services Mike will will discuss topics such as: maximizing client retention; selling your company's value; breaking into new markets and more.
"It is funny how few people start their career in a professional services firm thinking they will spend most of their days selling. But, climbing the ladder in a services firm, or leading a successful one, means at some point these people have to start selling," said Mike Schultz. "Even the best professionals, experts in their fields, struggle with making the transition from technical expert to rainmaker. In my presentation I will be sharing specific data on what buyers are looking for in service providers during the sales process along the top mistakes service providers are making when selling to them and how to fix them."
The Sales Roundtable will be held on Thursday, May 11, 2006 from 8:00 AM to Noon. Other speakers and topics include:
- Pete Kienle, President of SMPS Cleveland - Targeting the Right Clients
